As a technology expert working the IT field, I’ve had the privilege to experience numerous technologies that streamline various processes and put many services into one box. Our state has finally recognized that Colorado Parks and Wildlife is in need of a make over when it comes to their technology. Currently you must visit multiple resources to purchase parks passes, fishing licenses, hunting licenses and many others. Those days will be over soon as CPW has been working full-time and even taking the current systems down to make sure they have a successful launch when the systems launches the first weekend of January. Here is a time-line you can except:
System blackout begins: January 1, 2018
Go-live: 1st weekend of January, 2018
2018 Spring Turkey apps accepted: January 10th
2018 Habitat Stamp available: January 10th
