Catch a Pike, Get Rewarded

CPW has had it with Northern Pike population growing in Green Mountain reservoir, so much so that their advertising a $20 reward for every Northern Pike caught and turned in.  Sounds like a great deal to me, but not so fast.  These predators are not so easy when it comes to catching them, it all depends on the right time of the year and locating where the fish are lurking.  They could be in 2.5 foot of water to 35 feet of water.  That’s a story for another day though, for now I encourage every one to get out there and have fun catching fish no matter what it may be.  Just remember if you catch a Pike, turn it in and get you some money!
